The US CLOUD Act can oblige American providers to give US authorities access to data, even when it is stored in Europe. Will our operations continue during the migration?
Yes. We migrate in parallel operation; each phase is tested and signed off before the next one begins. This way your operations usually continue without interruption.
Can we take our VMware machines with us?
Yes. We move existing virtual machines, whether Windows or Linux, to Proxmox VE in a planned way with minimal downtime, without reinstallation, with a backup before every step.
Where are our servers located?
With CF1 on your own hardware on your premises, with CF2 and CF3 in our cloud infrastructure at IONOS in German data centres.
Is the consultation subsidised?
Under certain conditions, the consultation can be funded by the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA); we will be happy to check this with you.
