Who we are

CloudFaktor is the business division of Keppler IT-Systems GmbH, based in Bremen, that specialises in Linux and OpenSource.

The company was founded in 2001 by mathematician (Dipl.-Math.) Tobias Keppler and supports medium-sized businesses across all areas of IT, together with selected partners.

From roughly 25 years of hands-on experience in the SME sector, we know the challenges of IT landscapes that have grown over time – rising licence costs, vendor dependency and concerns about the security of your own data. With our virtual Network & Security Operation Center vNOC42 and many years of cloud experience – including as an AWS partner – we operate IT infrastructure reliably and securely.

This is exactly where CloudFaktor comes in: with an IT that belongs to your company – technically implemented to a high standard, explained in plain terms and supported over the long term.

Our mission

We are convinced that digital sovereignty should not be a privilege reserved for large corporations. Small and medium-sized businesses also have a right to an IT that is independent, data-protection compliant and cost-transparent. Our mission is to make this path achievable for SMEs – without risk, at their own pace and with a partner at their side who masters the technology.
